Question
Do you know when Gears of War 3 is coming out because I am thinking about buying Gears of War 2 before summer (or during),but I don't want to buy it if Gears of War 3 comes out later this year? Just because Gears of War 2 came out 1 year after the 1st one.

GOW 2 came out 11/07/08.  GOW 3 hasn't even been announced yet, and probably won't be announced until about this time next year.  It takes about 2-3 years to make a video game these days, so I'd say you're ok.  GOW 2 is only 5 months old.  GOW 1 came out 11/07/06, so GOW two came out two years after the 1st one, not one year.  Check the links if you need more info on either of them.
