QUESTION: I really wanted to know why pikachu wouldn't take the stone and how i could make him take it?

Answer
Sorry for the misunderstanding. The only way to evolve Pikachu is to trade him to a: Blue/Red/or another yellow or Siler/Gold/Crystal. Then use thunderstone. Once you trade him to a different game, pikachu will accept the thunder stone. Make sure you wait until Picachu is at least level 26, so he will know thunder bolt. After he evolves, simply trade him back you the original game.
