Console Games (Nintendo, Sony etc.) and Arcade Games - Snes video

Question
Hello. I recently dug out my old snes to play a gift my girlfriend got me. A
copy of earthbound!  Any rpg fan knows how rare this game is to find. But my
system has these rolling horizontal lines evenly spaced that really distort the
color and make the great visuals of the game annoying to watch. What can I
do to fix this!?!?!?

Answer
Gday Brian,

I believe this could be an issue with your Power Supply.  Check your SNES on a couple of other games particularly anything that has a black screen in it.  You are probably getting bars of green or other colors thru it.  If other games are doing the same thing it not your Earthbound game.  If you have another SNES or power supply try swapping both to trouble shoot what is failing.

But my money would be on the power supply.  (I recently bought a batch and they all did the same thing.)

This problem is usually related to the Transformer inside the power supply.  Although it is outputting the right Amps and Voltage the is a probably with the  alternating current (AC) circuit.

Hope this helps
