AboutDave Expertise I can answer a majority of questions. Questions for popular online fps/rpg games, technical difficulties running the game itself, if a certain game is worth to buy or not, tips, cheats, and whatever you want to know. If I can't answer your question confidently, then I will help you find another place that will get it :D
Experience About 12 years of video game experience starting out with the good ole' classics. I later went to Half-Life and Quake, then spending most of my video game life with most action/shooter games. From then I have played many games spanning through most consoles and especially the PC. I also have a huge library of games (I stopped counting around 120 for the PC alone :P )
Organizations I am currently an assistant manager at a GameStop which helps me get closer to games and asses them if anyone needs that particular help. I also do odd jobs for people in my spare time. Kinda like Niko in GTAIV...okay that's a bad example.
Education/Credentials High school graduate. Still deciding on what to major in college. Computer Science maybe?
Awards and Honors Nothing related to games though :(
Question Hello! I've been reading lately about the Red Ring of Death because I heard of someone I know who got the disgrace... I have an Xbox360 and I really want to prevent that system failure... so, please, information:
1. How to prevent It
2. I bought my 60 GB Xbox360 on Christmas Eve last year, Does my Xbox360 belong to the "already fixed new generation" by microsoft? or does it still have more risk to fail as the first consoles?
3. Is the Red Ring of Death an inevitable disgrace? will the it eventually appear ALWAYS in all Xbox360 consoles but only with a different delay of time? or could my xbox resist and endure plain years like other consoles? (I still have my N64 for example..)
thanks for your time
Answer 1. There is no definite way to prevent it, as far as I know atleast.
2. Yours should be fixed. I believe it was consoles made before 2006 or 2007 that got it.
3. It is inevitable for those I stated above. My 360 got it last Christmas and I had to send it to Microsoft.
