Question Hi, i dragged out the super nintendo and want to reconnect it to use again but seem to be having a problem getting it connected.
My TV is an LG golden eye and I also have an LG digital video broadcasting (DVB) recorder. Now I am not sure which plugs go where. Can you help me to connect all three to the tv so they will all work to gether. Many thanx in advance.
Chrissy.
Answer Gday Chrissy,
That would really depend on what kind of connector the SNES has if it is RF (Has a plug similar to cable or antenna) or AV (Has 3 plugs yellow, red, white) as the SNES has 2 connectors on the back.
The AV is going to be the simplest you would just connect the color coded plugs into one on the input the TV has. Switch to that input channel and you should be able to see the SNES.
The RF is going to be a bit harder. It could be plugged into either the TV or the DVB. It plugs in where the cable or antenna would go and you then plug that cable into the RF box. There is a channel selector on the SNES (And sometimes the RF box) either Channel 3 or 4. If you plug it into the TV you would have to tune it into that channel. Where as if you plug it into the DVB you would have to change the TV to whatever channel you watch your DVB on and then tune the DVB to channel 3 or 4. (Although it might not work at all with the DVB because it is converting the signal to digital and the SNES is only outputting in the analog standard)
