I had a blaze scorpion light gun and a playstation one a while back and it worked fine with die hard trilogy.
Now i have a PSone and a different scorpion light gun (though i think the same model) and also the g-con/guncon adaptor. I can't for the life of me get it to work properly. When I fire at the screen with the trigger it just reloads instead of firing - not sure what i'm doing wrong - tried it in different controller ports and with/without the adaptor (hope I'm using the adaptor right?? )
Could I maybe have some instruction on how to poperl;y go about setting up this equiptment so that it works properly.
Any help is greatly appreciated
Thanks very much for your time

Answer Gday Adam,
(Apologies for the delay in replying apparently the expert you sent it too has disappeared or this has been sent to the pool which it seems I only check)
For starts check that your TV is the old Tube type. Rear Screen Projection, Digital, LCD, HD do not work with light guns period. (A problem commonly over looked by people)
You should have the Guncon adaptor plugged into the back of the PS2 and also into the AV ports or RGB Scart plug (Depending on what type of Guncon Adaptor you have) The Blase Gun should then Plug into the controller port of the PS2 and the other cable with the yellow tip plug into the Video port of the Guncon Adaptor.
And that should be it.
If you are hearing it fire but not seeing the cross hairs then it's either a wiring issue not connection the gun's yellow AV port into the Guncon adaptor or the Guncon adaptors not working, possibly the light gun.
You could just use normal AV PSX cables (The ones with a red, white and yellow tip) and buy a splitter to connect the Yellow PSX cable and the guncon Yellow cable to the same port.
