Question
my old nintendo wii starting to gather dust and it woun;t conect to the internet any more and i have outgrown it so id like a replacment as the new ps3 slim just came out i was thinking about it its got a good price now is very small will work very well on my  lcd tv and the bult in blywayplayer and all the extras such as online is there any resion i shouden;t get it

Answer
Gday Quincey,

I don't see any reason not to get it.  If you are impressed by the games available and the added bonus of the bluray player then I would say go for it.

The only fine print that is usually not mentioned is the new PS3 Slim is not backward compatible with the PS2 or PS1 games.  (The technology was removed from the slim completely for playing PS2 Games.  Thus the price reduction.)

Hope this helps you.
