Question When I was a boy, I saw an arcade game overseas at an airport and haven't seen it again since. It was around 1989. I will try my best to describe it. It was sort of like Street Fighter II except you could only play as one character. I think he was a knight and his weapon was a long axe (or maybe it was a sword). You fought against one opponent at a time and they were always in the same order. The first boss was half-snake half-human with a very long big tail that resembled Medusa. The last boss of the game was a wizard that only used magic to defeat you. Since you enjoy fighting games I thought you'd might know.

I know this one as I have played it quite a bit. The game you are looking for was called Hippodrome or Fighting Fantasy was released in 1989 by Data East and was made Nihon Bussan/AV Japan. Has never seen a console release.
