Question
I HAVE A NEO GEO ARCADE MACHINE, WITH METAL SLUG 4! I DIDNT HAVE ANY POWER , SO I LOOKED INSIDE AND FOUND 3 WIRES GOING TO THE POWER CORD UNHOOKED! IM AFRAID TO HOOK THEM UP,BECAUSE I DONT KNOW WHAT WIRE HOOKS WHERE? 2 OF THE WIRES I THINK ARE BLACK AND THE OTHER ONE GREEN? COULD YOU TELL ME WHERE THEY HOOK UP? THANKS DANNY

Answer
Gday Danny,

Depending where the wires are located?  If they are the 3 wires coming in from the machine where the power plugs into the wall, they 3 wires probably go off to the transformer or maybe even a EMI filter or fuse.  Depending on how the machine is built but I would guess the Green wire is probably Ground and the 2 black wire is power to the load %26 neutral returns current to the source.  (IE the power from the wall)  Hopefully they have a connector on the end, if they for all your have to do is find the other connector and connect it up.  If they don't you will be faces in trying to trace where they go and connect up.

(If you can provide me with a photo layout of the transformer/fuses/wiring at the bottom of the machine I might be able to tell you where they plug in)

Hope this helps
