Question
Hey, i love these games but i was wondering if there were any hidden secrets? and could you explain to me what exactly this game series is about...i sort of get it...but i'm confused why Roxas is alive and how Sora has a keyblade...i just need someone to explain to me everything. hahaha thanks! :D

Answer
What exactly do you mean by hidden secrets?
I don't really understand
A supposed secret could be the hidden-keyblades that aren't vital to the story. Or fighting the secret/extra bosses.

The story in a nut-shell is this:

Kingdom Hearts 1
Sora is the chosen one who is destined to wield the keyblade. Why? It's never explained why he was chosen by the keyblade. It's Sora's mission to rid each world of heartless by using the keyblade to seal the keyholes in each respective world. In his own quest he is looking to find his friend Riku and Kairi. King Micky is another wielder of the Keyblade who wants to help rid the world of heartless also. Riku is ANOTHER wielder of a keyblade who is Sora's friend he's an antagonist in some areas and a protagonist in others. Riku is a guy who is lost in his own emotions. The main antagonist Ansem must be stopped in his quest to control "Kindgom Hearts" (a place where hearts are stored kind of like heaven but for hearts) hearts are a source of power which is what Ansem wants, and in the final battle Sora beats him and "saves" the worlds.

In order to understand Kingdom Hearts 2 fully you need to have played Kingdom Hearts 1 and Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories for the Gameboy Advance (or the version for PS2.

Kingdom Hearts 2
Kingdom Hearts 2 starts with Roxas. Afterwards, then leaves off where Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories left off with Sora waking up from his "sleep: inside this white pod. He goes outside to a place called "Twilight Town" (another place shown in Chain of Memories) and finds out that Heartless still run amok inside the worlds. After a while Sora goes to Yen-Sid's castle but before he meets an odd man in a black hood which covers his face. Once arriving to Yen-Sid's castle he learns everything he needs to know. Kingdom Hearts 1 made the heartless population significantly smaller but did not make heartless extinct. He then learns exactly what the guy in the black hood was all about. He learns about "the nobodies" which are beings that are smarter, and stronger than heartless and can appear to be "normal." Nobodies are born whenever someone is turned into a heartless. Roxas is alive because if you remember in Kingdom Hearts 1 near the end of the game Sora is turned into a heartless in hallow bastion. Since Roxas is apart of Sora he can also use the keyblade. Thirteen Powerful Nobodies created an organization called "Organization 13" whos mission to again to gather hearts and use them for power. The leader is Xemnas. Halfway (about) through the game you learn that Ansem (from Kingdom Hearts 1) was an impostor. The Real Ansem (for consistency I'll just call him by his full name Ansem the Wise) Ansem the Wise had a student called Xehanort. Ansem from Kingdom Hearts 1 was his Heartless and Xemnas the leader of Organization 13 was his Nobody. Near the end of the game you find out that two hooded figures (one really short and one taller than Sora) are actually King Micky and Riku. Although Riku looks like Ansem from Kingdom Hearts 1 because he needed the power of darkness. Once you get inside the castle of "The World that Never Was" you defeat (kill) the last remaining members of organization 13.
After Ansem the Wise has a machine which he tries to materialize the power of Kingdom Hearts so it won't be a threat. He fails and dies. Then Sora and Riku fight Xemnas three times, after you beat him the game is done. Sora and Riku are stuck in an island for a while but then Light transports them to their home land where Donald, Goofy (the guys who've helped you since the beginning) and Kairi are waiting for you. You get a letter from King Mickey but you never know what it says. The Game Ends
Hopefully that wasn't too long and I've helped
