Question Just looking for some tips on become a better online socom player? What kind of tatics do you use, 3 burst shot, or full automatic, and controller settings? Where do you have the look, dead zone, and the turn speed? I hope to hear from you, and thanks so much for your time.

Answer Hello there and I am glad to hear from a Socom fan. Ill be playing socom 2 online tonight. Anyway, first off as far as tactics go use as much teamwork as possible. The team that talks the most wins. Dont rush in. Take your time, notice where people are comming from, notice where your teammates dies at and what from. This helps you keep tabs on where the enemy are. Can they hit you with a grenade from where they are at? Always run in pairs. This will cause the other team to get nervous and makes them decide who they want to shoot at. All this time you are shooting at them. It causes people to rush a shot. As for what weapons, I ALWAYS use the most accurate. The m16 is the best in the game by far. It only shoots in burst mode so you have to learn to use it. The M14 is GREAT on small maps like frost fire due to the fact you will be making short range shots and the M14 shoots very fast and very hard. Two shots from this gun kills, the most powerful of the full auto. (im leaving out the IW80 because it is not allowed very often by the other team). Throw alot of grenades, dont die with nades on your body. Reacting to the other team is the most important thing to do. Are they rushing, tell your team to hang back and throw grenades. Youll destroy them. Are they camping and holding back with snipers. If so take your time and throw nades. The snipers biggest enemy is smoke. USE smoke grenades if you or your team are being sniped. Figure out where the sniper is (watch the red arrow on your screen by your crosshairs, it shows from what direction the fire is comming from)then move in and drop the sniper. Use the map to your advantage. Hope this helps. :) As far as my settings. I turn acceleration and speed all the way up and leave dead area set at factory.
