Is the Xbox360 premium system backward compatable with xbox games

When it comes to the 360, it does play your standard xbox games. It isnt directly backwards compatible though, the machine works through emulation to get it all to work. Assuming you have Live, any game from this following link ~should~ work after a quick update

I'm moving into answering questions relating to the Xbox 360 and related games. I've been a gamer for pretty much the last 14/15 years, so I feel I know my fair share about the subject. I spent the early years with Nintendo, the mid years with both Sony and Nintendo and I'm now just enjoying my Xbox 360, so I have experience with all three groups.
