Hi, I am a big gamecube game player but one game has me stumped. Normally if I get stuck, i go to the walkthroughs and find my answers but I just cannot find anything that will help. The game is Sphinx and the cursed mummy. If you know anything, or better yet, if you've played it or know of anyone else who has, I would appreciate the help. Thanks!

Hi Cindi:
Taken a visit to gamefaqs.com yet? They have got a pretty good faq (walkthrough) for the game. Just click under S (from clicking gamecube) and look for the game's name and you'll see the link :)
If you need any extra help... Im all ears. All you gotta do is just ask! Just be sure to put where exactly your having trouble so I am able to help just that extra bit better.

Ok, I've had that site bookmarked for a while plus I've used other sites too. The part I'm stuck at is in the Castle of Uruk area. Sphinx enters a room with a yellow "T" on the floor. Well, I get past the first and second rooms but when I enter the room where I have to kill a few creatures then use the slim burbles to break down the pillars to work my way to the top. Now, the walkthrough says to stand on the button and release a slim burble to break the wall revealling the last pattern to be able to leave the area. When I stand on the button and release the slim burble, it just stays there and does not walk out to the center to blow up and break the wall. If I get off the button to run out to the center to guide the slim burble, the ledge disappears and I fall to the ground while the burble explodes back up there by the button. I don't know how to get the burble to walk out to the center so he will blow up the wall. The area of the game I'm speaking of is called "Sacred crown of Uruk - Uruk Islands" It seems so simple when you read it but I just can't get those burbles to work with me. I've also released a burble on the button hoping it would hold it down while I use the ledge to run out and release another burble toward the crack in the wall but those burbles won't hold the button down and the ledge disappears. Everyone in the house is waiting for me to figure it out and none of us are getting any further in the game until we break that wall. Please, any suggestions?
AnswerHi again:
Ive had a look around the websites that I know (and the ones I dont lol) to see if I cant find any extra info. I looked also at all three versions of the walkthrough (i.e GC's PS2's and XBOX's) plus I was able to get intouch with someone who had it... and how much did it help? Not one bit!
So, Im guessing the problem may have something to do with the execution rather than the soloution itself. From what my mate said/the GC walkthrough says, it looks like it can get a bit yucky at times if you know what I mean. All I can really suggest is to follow the instructions as best as possibly can and to remember that games (when they have problems like this where you have to release something to follow a set path) mostly work with right angles, so you pretty much have to go straight AND with no errors! It sucks I know, but thats how some games are...
Heres another idea maybe you didnt do: It says that in the GC walkthrough that you have to turn the burbel so it faces the wall left. Were you able to do that? That may also help as well.
LoL It would help me if I was able to play the game myself, but unfortunally it seems I live in the state that video game companies forgot (South Australia, Australia)and I just cant find a majority of the games out there... lol I do my best though for the masses though.
Hopefully that may help. Remember try to keep it as straight as humanly possible, follow everything to a T and to practise when you cant get it right. If there is anything extra that you think that may help me just let me know and I'll keep searching.
