I have a ps2, with the hook up for the internet.  I am looking to get final fantasy 11, with whatever expansion packs, and whatever else I will need to run it, and the amount of 1 year worth of subscription.  Could you itemize this for me, and give me the prices on these, and tell me where I can sign up for the subscription, and also if it was an option to pay for 1 year in advance, instead of having to pay month after month, could I pay all at once for a whole year, and could I do it without credit card, debit card, or bank account, could I use a money order, or paypal, or something like that, thanks for the help.

Okay a list of things you will need to get this project off the ground.

I am assuming you already have the PS2 and some sort of home internet connection all prices are in USD.

you will also need the following:-

PP XI Game. (No brainer) (Anywhere up to about $40US)

A Network Adaptor (Ethernet/modem built into the one unit so depending on you home internet connection about $30)

Internal Hard Disk Drive (40GB) (anywhere up to about 70, HDD & Game RRP new are about $100)

USB keyboard (Although not needed highly recommended up to about $15)

Final Fantasy XI: Chains of Promathia expansion disk. (up to about $25)

Depending on you internet connection maybe a router (If you want to use your Computer and PS2 at the same time Up to $50)

Payment without a Credit card might be a bit impossible to get online.

I think there may be an inital set up cost of $50 (But that includes 1 months service) then it's $13 a month plus $1 extra for each new characture you want.  Not sure if or how they handle advanced supscription.  (As with any online product the manufactures could take it down whenever they want to.  So they tend to be month to month.)

All up you would be looking at least $400 for everything including gaming for a year.
