Console Games (Nintendo, Sony etc.) and Arcade Games/A little help here?

Question
Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask; if it is, could you tell me where to go?

I'm having a bit of trouble with my Gamecube games. None of them will load properly- they'll just inform me that there's no disk. It does that with every game! The only time I actually load the game it'll suddenly stop playing and give me an error.

So could you help me?

Answer
Hey Katrina

Well, I dont think I am able to help without knowing a few things... Has your games/gamecube been cleaned recently? Dust has know to have caused a few problems with gamecubes (as with all systems)

What type of condition are the games that you can actually get loaded? Could there be a scratch? I've had to get rid of games just from the smallest scratch... they can be a real hassel at times I know.

Nintendo has a trouble shooting guide to most of these problems, and it can be found at this address:
http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/systems/nintendogamecube/troubleshooting.jsp

Depending on where you are as well, nintendo may also provide a reapir option if neccessary.

Feel free to send in anymore specific information as to what problems are occuring so I may be able to help you a bit more.

Good luck, and I hope I was a help.

Expertise

I'm moving into answering questions relating to the Xbox 360 and related games. I can still answer questions on previous topics (Gamecube/GBA stuff) but please note I will not be able to help at a full capacity. As always, if I dont know the answer I'll do my best to search for it or point you to the best possible alternative for getting an answer (Updated 31/08/06 and about time too).

Experience

I've been a gamer for pretty much the last 14/15 years, so I feel I know my fair share about the subject. I spent the early years with Nintendo, the mid years with both Sony and Nintendo and I'm now just enjoying my Xbox 360, so I have experience with all three groups. I'm not much of a technical buff, but just like before if I cant answer a technical question personally I'll do my best to search for it or point you out to the next best source (Updated 31/08/06)
