Apologies first up, Uni has been very busy as of late, so you can only get so much done. In my email box, bot this question AND the reminder were new emails, shows how busy I have been, havent been able to check my emails.

Anyways, here is the fruits of my labour.

I dont know what you know about this thing, but I'll assume that all you have seen is the film the below link is reffering to.

The microsoft handheld which you are reffering to is actually Microsoft's take on the new movement of UMPC's, or Ultra-Mobile Personal Computers (Codenamed The Oragami Project). The film is actually just concept art shown by marketers (I guess, who else would make the film?) to microsoft employers, and unless your UMPC has enough junk in it to actually play Halo, you really wont be able to play it like the movie suggests.

Take a look at the development here:

You also may want to take a look here as well, and see what the Oragami Experience is all about

I havent found out any information on Microsoft actually taking up a handheld console. I think this is really what your referring to in your question, and long story short, it isnt really a 360portable or something like that, its more of a super portable Laptop.

I hope this atleast gives you a start on finding out all you want to know about your answer.

Expertise

I'm moving into answering questions relating to the Xbox 360 and related games. I can still answer questions on previous topics (Gamecube/GBA stuff) but please note I will not be able to help at a full capacity. As always, if I dont know the answer I'll do my best to search for it or point you to the best possible alternative for getting an answer (Updated 31/08/06 and about time too).

Experience

I've been a gamer for pretty much the last 14/15 years, so I feel I know my fair share about the subject. I spent the early years with Nintendo, the mid years with both Sony and Nintendo and I'm now just enjoying my Xbox 360, so I have experience with all three groups. I'm not much of a technical buff, but just like before if I cant answer a technical question personally I'll do my best to search for it or point you out to the next best source (Updated 31/08/06)
