i bought some ps2 games in thailand and they wont work on my ps2 but my ps2 is chipped and i use the action replay version 2 to play copied uk games?
i bought my ps2 i the uk also, it play origanal games and copied uk games but not the thai ones?

need help please as i have bought 30 games for my son!!!!!

The only think I can think of is maybe your PS2 Chip/Action Replay is not capable of playing NTSC games or you have not turn on a setting to play a NTSC game on you PAL machine.  Since it seems to be okay with local games and copied local games, both of which are PAL formatted.  (PS2 Chips range from really good to not that great.  The couple I have tried you just put the game in and it works no need to use an Action Pro Replay, boot disk or swapping disks over)

My next question is do you have a USA or Japanese game or copied game to try in your unit?  Because if you have and it works the Thai games should work without a problem.

While Thai games should be NTSC or at least copied NTSC games.  Although being games from Thailand they could be a problem with them but I find it hard to beleive all 30 would be faulty.

Bottom line is it is either a setting you arn't turning on or you Chip is not capable of playing an NTSC game on your PAL machine.
