Question
Hello,

I'm having a house built through Taylor Morrison and as it's been built there have been flaws along the way that we had to bring to their attention...it was as if they never had our floorplans. Just one big headache.

Anyways...I recently went by there and found out that the master bathroom is different from the model home. In the model there is an extension of the tub which should be encapsulated by the shower wall where you can sit or put shampoo, etc...however, in our home the encapsulation has been moved up and no there is no sitting room, etc....

I've checked and this was never an upgrade.

I'm waiting on a response from the sales associate...They have to fix this...don't they?

Thanks for the help!!!

Answer
Production homes can and do vary from model homes. Models are designed to demonstrate different options, decor and other features. If your purchase agreement does not list this feature in the bathroom, it probably will not be available.
I suggest that you get in touch with management and discuss this calmly. Usually this will result in a good outcome for both of you.
I am not impressed with most salespeople and their ability (or motivation) to solve problems. They seem to represent the buyer during the negotiations and the company after the purchase agreement has been signed.
