Sir,

We have a elevated platform on which a forklift truck has to be used.

How to calculate the required Load Bearing Capacity (kg/sq.m) on the Platform.

Inorder to make the calculations you will need to consider the type of materials the platform is built of and  consider the supports of the platform.

After you have calculated the support capacities you will need to consider the weights of the forktruck and the loads that the truck is holding.

The answer requires all of the above. the calculations should be supplied by a license engineer or someone of technical knowledge.
