Question
pl let me know
1) what are the benefits of stone masonry over brick masonry in foundation
2) What is the best way to repair cracks in houses ( walls or ceiling)

Answer
Raju,
One of the oldest materials in the world - concrete - is still the best product for foundations.  But, if my only choices were stone or brick, I would use brick.  It is a uniform size, can be interlaced to form a bond, adheres well with mortar and can withstand compression.  Stone is not uniform in size, is not very porous and therefore does not readily bond with mortar and it's shape does not resist compression well.  In conclusion, I do not see any benefits of stone masonry over brick.
Now to the repair of cracks in houses.  Are you referring to plaster on the walls and ceiling?  If so, the cracks must be cleaned out of any loose material and widened enough to receive patching plaster.  Also, sand the paint on each side of the crack to get down to bare plaster.  Moisten the plaster on each side of the crack, trowel in new plaster.  Let the new plaster dry and determine if another coat is required because of shrinkage.  If so, trowel on more plaster and let dry thoroughly.  Sand down and high spots.  Repaint the entire wall or ceiling after priming the new plaster first.

I hope this was helpful.
