FIDIC amended in specials.
A "day" means a calendar day, except for any extension of time that is granted under sub-clause 8.4 (Extension of Time for Completion) in which case a day means a working day. a "Year" means 365 calendar days.
Appendix to Tender Special no working days - Sundays and designated public holidays.
Specials regarding Rainfall Extension 5 day working week paid monthly P & G.

Q : For claims in terms 8.4 What is a working day?

As per my understanding based on the details provided by you, Any day other than Sundays and designated public holidays are designated as Working Day.

You may also refer your Approved Programme and see how the days are set to achieve Timely Completion.
