It's unwise to pay too much, but it's unwise to pay too little. When you pay too much you lose a little money, that is all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing you bought it to do.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. It can't be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it's well to add something for the risk you run.
And if you do that, you will have enough to pay for something better.

Question Party Wall act1996 ENGLAND, Are Roofs over a Party wall coverd by this Legislation ? ie a roof canopy shared by two propertys
Answer Hi Stephen,
You ask me a detailed question on a specific area of English law which is well outside my professed field of knowledge and then mark me down when I give you a web site, which I have found useful, as a lead to finding an answer. Where was the lack of knowledge in my professed expertise? What was unclear about the answer, especially considering your nice comments?
I could have answered that this question was outside my field of knowledge and left you to find your own way, but that is not my style. I am not worried about the score as I do this for free, but it may affect the approach of others who need real help. This type of marking does not encourage me to provide answers to others in future.
Perhaps you would like to explain the basis of your marking so that I can improve my service and continue to have a high average.
