the trespassers should be liable but in grant county minnesota they wont prosecute, i have a common law dedicated trail running through our property and the sheriff  and the county attorney have let others haul in 15 or 16 hundred yards of fill across our property and nobody will do anything about it. i have been threatened by the the sheriff for public nuisance just for trying to protect my property.now this winter someone down the road blows snow and debris on our land and cant get any one to stop it. what a country.
