Container Gardens/Re-Potting Jasmine

Question

Jasmine
Hi,
I have a Jasmine plant that has intertwined it's vines beautifully around its trellis.  I need to re-pot it because it has outgrown its current pot and is staring to die.  How do I do this without damaging the plant?

Answer
Hi Vanessa, from the looks of it, it just needs to be supplemented with more soil; with a trowel, dig down the sides and gently lift the entire rootball and have somebody else add soil to the bottom then set the rootball back and then back fill to within an inch of the surface and water well.:)Nick
