Question
I placed fig in my basement over winter, but it started to bud so I moved it to outside shed. It went dormant again and lost buds. Its been outside for about three weeks now but it is not shooting any growth. The tree is green all over except the tips of all branches.Please advise
Hi Mike, it seems it was coming out of dormancy and when you moved it you upset its sequence; let it be and wait and see what happens, it should repeat. When and if it does, leave it be until you achieve leaf growth, at this point move it outside to its summer location. Nick

| Comment | Thank you, Nick for your quick response. Just this morning I noticed the tiniest of buds but still a bud . I was also told to mist the tree 5 to 6 times daily to soften bark and help growth.It's alive!, It's alive! Thank's Again Mike | ||
