Question
Hi, I would like to get a Haas avacado tree and live in Ca. by STockton. I can't find a dwarf or semi-dwarf so I wondered if I got a regular one and grew it in a pot, would that work? This way I thought it wouldn't grow so big &  I would sort of stunt it's growth plus if I move, I can take it with me. thanks jenny

Answer
Hi Jenny, not really the right tree for a container, they just grow too big and would only stress out if you tried to contain it; even if you could it would most assuredly never set fruit for you. There is one dwarf on the market that has mixed reviews, you may want to research, it is called the Gillogly. Nick
