Question I know you have already said that lilacs are not container plants but I live in an apartment. My parents died recently and I am nostalgic for the smell of lilacs which surrounded the house I grew up in. Is there any variety of lilac that might do well in a large pot on my south facing terrace?
Thanks
Answer There is a small one called "Dwarf Korean Lilac one" that can allegedly be put in a container, albeit it would have to be somewhat of a large container, for the plant will grow to 5 feet, but again, its claim to fame is its being able to be containerized; Put"Dwarf Korean Lilac" into your search engine and there will be nurseries that sell it online.
