Container Gardens/Norfolk Island Pine - Transplant into self-watering container

Question
I have a Norfolk pine that needs repotting. I purchased a self-watering planter, but am wondering if that's the wisest choice for this plant? Thoughts? Comments?

Also, any suggestions on steps to complete the repotting would be greatly appreciated!

Answer
Hi Mary Ann, I wouldn't use it, I prefer to water my plants as needed, and many don't need as much as others, your Norfolk Island Pine is one of these; always remember that a plant will let you know when it is in dire need of irrigation, and when watered, will come right back for you, but if a plant is over watered, the damage to the roots is usually lethal for the plant.
