Container Gardens/Yellowing leaves on Fig tree

Question
Hey I have a brown turkey Fig I just bought, about 3.5 ft tall that i transplanted to a slightly larger pot.  The leaves first started to droop slightly, some of the young fruit fell off and now the leaves are yellowing.  I think the first response is you need to water more.  I feel the soil is moist however.  I am afraid of over watering the plant,  the plant is in miracle grow plant mixture and the pot drains well.  I live in DC and its been a relatively hot summer.  I don't see any bugs on the leaves...Any Help is much appreciated, thanks

Answer
Its more then likely just reacting to the transplant, Many plants go through what is known as transplant shock; they lose their leaves and then regrow them. Figs are one of these, but are also very resilient and will immediately set new ones. Keep your fig on the damp side, not allowing it to dry out and it should do fine.
