Question
In New York State is there a School that has Car Dealership Training,Like they do at Universal Technical Institute.

Answer
Hello Adam,

Thanks for asking a question. When you say, "dealership training" are your referring to "manufacturer programs"? The website states "...manufacturer-specific advanced training (MSAT) from UTI's Custom Training Group (CTG). These programs allow qualified students the opportunity to train for a rewarding career with world-class manufacturers...The programs are administered by the manufacturers and are therefore not within the scope of accredited programs offered at UTI campuses. Students must apply and be chosen by the manufacturers to participate.  MSAT programs vary by location." If you are interested in a specific manufacturer, you should contact the manufacturer to find out if UTI or others have arrangements with them.

There are other automotive schools in NY. Have you looked at Lincoln Tech (http://www.lincolnedu.com/schools/lincoln-technical-institute)?

I found a list of other schools here (although most seem to be colleges/universities): http://www.technical-schools-guide.com/newyork-automotivediesel-schools.html

The New York Automotive & Diesel Institute has training programs which may be of interest to you. http://www.newyorkadi.com/programs.html

Good luck with your studies,
Cindy Wolfe
