Question
Hi, I am in India and I have done post graduation both in Textiles and Clothing and Computer Application.  I am interested to do postgraduation in Islamic studies.  I want to know what are the options that are there in Islamic studies, whether I can do a post graduation or I can only do a graduation in it.  I have 16 years of education in India.  Please give a details about the Universities providing Islamic education in the USA, eligibility criteria, etc.  I also would like to know whether I can work while I study.

Awaiting your reply

Thanks

Answer
Hello Ayisha,

Thanks for asking a question. However, my expertise does not extend to recommending religous studies paths. I realize that faith-based schooling is a function of personal belief. Ask your clergy for recommendations related to your particular Islamic world view. I support your decision to return to school and view this as an extremely important decision in your personal and spiritual life.

Regards,
Cindy Wolfe
