Continuing/Adult Education - Mom's diploma

Expert: Mike Smith - 9/30/2008

Question
My mom would really like a copy of her high school diploma. She said she never got a copy of her
yearbook either. I'd like to help her however her school
doesn't exist. I've been working on this for a full day now.
J. Langas

Answer
Hi June,
Many of our high schools have closed over the last 20 years, However: the School District should still be in existence. A school district is required to keep records for a life span of a student + 30 years. Find out what district or Board was responsible for the school and go from there.
Good luck
Mike
