Question
Hi Diane

I am taking the contraceptive pill celeste and have been for the past year and a half, I had a few problems last month and was taking my pill very irregularly as I was not at home and didnt have access to it, so in the month I probably only took about 10 pills on irregular days, I am using other contraception to protect against pregnancy and have been since that month but just wondered what the other effects of taking the pill so irregularly would be? I am now back to taking it every day as I should be

thanks

Answer
Hi Sophie,

Thanks for your question. I'm not a medical doctor so please always direct your health questions to your personal physician. The only side effect I could see would be the irregular hormones in your body.
Even if you are using another contraceptive (depends on what it is) you still can't presume to have 100% no chance of pregnancy. Let me know if you have any other side effects that you feel.
You can email me at DWooley97@yahoo.com if you want to talk more.

Sincerely,
Diane W.
