Question i have been on the pill since november. i have had a regular period at the end of each month during the inactive week like i'm supposed to. i am again in my week where my period should be here and it's been three days and no sign of it. i have only four more days left in my period week, why is this happening? i cant possibly be pregnant because i have been taking the pills as directed and when me and my boyfriend have sex, he never ejaculates inside me. is this normal?
Answer Hi Ashley,
Yes, it is normal. Your period can arrive at any time during the inactive week and is not considered late. Many women experience shorter, lighter periods on the pill and some even skip periods while on the pill. As long as you are taking the pill correctly you are most likely not pregnant. However, if you do not get your period by the time you start your next pill pack you can take a pregnancy test to be sure.
I hope this helps. If oyu have further questions let me know.
