Question
I am married for last 10 years. I have two kids of 7 year and 4 years. Myself and my wife decided to go for family planning. But we are confused, which method of family planning is good for us. I should go for vasectomy, or she should get operated. Will you kindly advice, what is the best way for us. And what are the positive and negative side effects of vasectomy. Please reply.

Answer
Why do you not want any  more children? My daughter and her husband have 6 children. Children are good and a blessing from the Lord.  I can't recommend either procedure for your wife or yourself. Do you have any religious beliefs about children? Please email me at DWooley97@yahoo.com and we can talk more. Also, if either of you have an operation, there is usually not much chance of reversing. So if you changed your mind for some reason, you would not be able to have more children.

Sincerely,
Diane W.
