Question Hi. On Saturday morning my partner and I were having sex. The condom broke,
he ejaculated inside me. Later that day I got my period. I was so worried I took
the first pill of Plan B. I was supposed to take the second one 12 hours later but
did not because of the side effects. I am still within the time range to take it.
Should I?
Answer Hi Vida,
I am not 100% sure, but I believe that if it has been longer than 12 hours you will need to take entire dose again. This is something you will need to discuss with a doctor or family planning nurse. Please call your local clinic for more information. As well, you do not have to wait the 12 hours, but can take both pills together.
