Question I have recently came off the contraceptive pill, microgynon; i had a period as normal but have not had a period now for 4 weeks and 6 days. Is it likely i could be pregnant?
Answer Hi Katie,
When women come off using the birth control pill sometimes their body takes a while to get back in a regular cycle. As well, 4 weeks and 6 days is fairly normal for some women whose cycles are up to 40 or 50 days long.
I would say you most likely are not, however if you are anxious about it you can always take a pregnancy test.
