What are the advantages and disadvantages of each method of birth control?
I can answer questions about the various forms of contraception/birth control. I have knowledge about condoms, Nuvaring, Depo provera, the Patch, birth control pills, IUD, etc. I can answer some questions about sexually transmitted diseases.
Experience I have 20 years experience with counseling women about contraception methods and STD's.
Education/Credentials 20 years of volunteering and counseling young women. I volunteer with a local pregnancy resource center and have an internet ministry.
I got my periods on 18th of Feb. And i had intercouse on 15th March, i.e my 25th day. I had an emergency contraceptive pill(ipill) on 17th March. Till now i didn't have got my periods and i'm very much tensed about this. I even did pregnency test and that showed negative. Now i'm only concerned about my periods. Please suggest me.

Thanks for your question. If you took the emergency pill, then you probably aren't pregnant anymore but I can't tell you on the internet. I don't recommend the emergency pill at all. Read about it at http://www.optionline.org and it's also called Plan B or morning after pill. Click on that link.
Since you had the hormonal pill, it could make your period irregular and I'm not sure how long that could last. Please consult your doctor.
As the article says, many women take the emergency pill when not even necessary. If you had intercourse, you weren't necessarily pregnant.
Please do not repeat this and perhaps consider abstinence in your life.
