Question
okay, I was on yaz, I had a regular period, then three days later I started bleeding again. I stopped taking the pill during the bleeding and went to see my doctor. Took a pregnancy test that came out negetive. The bleeding lasted for 8 days. That was three weeks ago, I was supposed to get my period and I havent. I have been having unprotected sex with my husband and I never took the pill again. Is pregnancy possible?

Answer
Hi Shimika,

Thanks for your question. I'm not a doctor so I can't diagnose over the internet. It's hard for me to say what is going on. Pregnancy is possible but you will have to see if you miss your next period or have one. Also, watch for pregnancy symptoms. An option to get a free pregnancy test is http://www.optionline.org or call 1-800-395-HELP. Please email me at DWooley97@yahoo.com and keep me updated on what is happening.

Diane W.
