Contraception and VD/After a miscarriage

Question
After a miscarriage, how long does it take for the hcg levels to leave your system? I miscarried on October 23rd and 12 weeks to the day later i tested positive on a pregnancy test.

Also, I have heard that after a miscarriage you are more fertile and the chance of conceiving multiples greatly increases. How accurate is this?

Answer
Hello Beth,

I would say that you should be testing negative on a pregnancy test by now. I suppose there is a chance that it would still say positive but I wouldn't think so. Do you have any more pregnancy symptoms developing?

If you are near a pregnancy resource center, you could go there and get a free test and ask for advice. Everything should be free. Check out http://www.optionline.org or call 1-800-395-HELP.

Please email me at DWooley97@aol.com and let me know what happens. Here's an article I found
