Question
My daughter is having an IUD removed due to side effects of the hormone.  How long does it take for the hormone to leave her system?
Thanks
MaryAnn

Answer
Dear MaryAnn,

I'm really glad to hear that your daughter is having the IUD removed. I don't recommend the IUD or most kinds of birth control methods. I just looked up several websites online but can't find any information about how long the hormones take to leave the woman's system. I suggest that you ask her doctor. I will keep trying to look so you can email me at DWooley97@aol.com and I'll see what I can find out. If you find out anything, please let me know.

Thanks.
Diane W.
