Contraception and VD/Yeast Infections

Question
I have reoccuring yeast infections. I sometimes have them every month one to two times. I am on birth control which in the side effects it say "may cause vaginal infections" I am also on antibiotics for my skin. My doctor knows I get yeast infections a lot and doesn't seem worried. I am worried because of what I read about reoccuring infections online. Should I be worried or could my birth contol and antibiotics be the cause?

Answer
Hi Chelsey,

I don't like that your doctor doesn't seem to be concerned about your syptoms. You might think about getting another doctor if your doctor doesn't want to help you with this problem. Is it possible that you could consider abstinence at this time of your life? Write me at DWooley97@aol.com because I would really like to talk to you at depth. Put ALLEXPERTS in the subject line.

Sincerely,
Diane Cheryl
