Question
I recently started birth control, about a month ago... Yaz a birth control pill. I stopped into my second week of this month (august) so around the 17th, when i realized i want to have another child, i have a 2 year old and i want my kids to be close in age. I'm only 23 but i'm wondering, since i've stopped brith control (it's only been a week) if there's a good possibility of getting pregnant soon because i wasn't on it more than a month?
How long could it take for me?
Thank you

Answer
Hi Dana,

Thanks for your question. I'm not a medical doctor so I suggest you check with your physician. In my opinion, being on the birth control pill for just a short time should not make that much difference. I suggest that you go to Natural Family Planning under All Experts and ask Ramona a question. She is the expert on NFP and could help you find out more about your cycle and how to find out when you are fertile, etc. Good luck!

Sincerely,
Diane W.
