Question
I'm Dara,I and my girl are 23. we’ll get married next year. I actually don’t want to have child yet.
but my fiancée said we should have the child bec she was told for the first time woman should get a first child before use pill and if she use pill, she afraid that she won’t be able to have child in the future. I don’t want to use condom with her bec we both are virgin. And I don’t feel like using condom with  my wife is a good idea and will make her feel good. Well I want to delay 6month or a year after we married before we get a child. is there any way we enjoy our sex life and not worry abt having child.
Your anwer will be greatly appreciate.

Answer
Dear Dara,

There is no risk to a woman's fertility when she takes a birth control pill. What your fiancee has heard is simply a myth that has been around since the pills first came out. When a woman stops taking the pills her chances of gettting pregant are just as good as if she has never taken the pill, so there is no need for your girlfriend to worry about this.

I recommend you go to the doctor with your fiancee and discuss different methods of birth control. If she decides she does not want to take it after discussing with her doctor, then there are other methods of birth control that might be more appropriate. But rest assured, the pill does not damage a woman's fertility.

Good luck and have fun,
