Contraception and VD/Should I Say Something?

Question
Before I had a STD test, I had unprotected sex with my girlfriend. My results came back negative for everything, but the doctor said the chlamydia/gonorrhea results were only 60% accurate (everywhere I read says chlamydia/gonorrhea test are much more accurate though). And she gave me treatment for chlamydia just in case I did have it(she said there was no harm in taking the pills if I didn't have it). Even though my results came back negative, should I still tell my girlfriend to be tested?

Answer
Dear Luther,

I wonder if you might need to see another doctor because it sounds like the one you saw was not very sure of themself. I dont know what your relationship is like with your girlfriend, but I would recommend just telling her the truth about how your doctor was unsure and what he prescribed for you. However, if you are not comfortable doing that, I would find another doctor and ask them this same question.

Sorry I couldnt be more specific, but a medical doctor would be the best person to ask.
