Question
I wanted to know if having sex during my menustration is good or bad? When my boyfriend and I have sex, sometimes I tend to burn a little while, but if he keeps it in and we keep going, eventually the burning stops. What does that mean?

Hi Jackie,
I'm not a medical doctor so I want to suggest that you check with your physician. I read some article about this subject and I don't see anything dangerous about having sex during menstruation. One thing to consider is chances of sexually transmitted diseases. But the burning seems to be potentially a problem. I would definitely have this checked out. It could be a STD or an infection.
