Question
can i pressure cook deer meat, and also i have heard that if you put instant coffee(about 1 teaspoonful) in the water and meat it will give it a beef taste, any thruth

Answer
Ruby:

On pressure cooking, keep in mind that deer is lean, about 30% more lean than beef. So there isn't much fat or connective tissue in a venison roast to convert to gellatin(that is what braising does in a crock pot or pressure cooker).  So you'll end up with a pretty tough lump of meat.  I always cut my roasts into steaks.  You can pound them with a meat mallet on both sides to about 1/4 thick and chicken fry them.  Or do them like schnitzel.
I have never done the coffee trick, but it seems worth a try.  I have never had a piece of beef that tasted like coffee though.
