What is very important to know is:
Refrigerated shrimps take few minutes to be well grilled (about 1, max. 2 minutes) , if you overcooked then they're texture becomes so dry and hard (like a white paper eraser).
I recommend to follow the next steps:
1. If shrimps are frozen, defrost them into water.
2. If they have shell, you have to peel them.
3. Wash them with fresh water.
4. Marinate them with garlic and salt.
5. Heat the grill for 5 minutes.
6. Put shrimps on the grill for 1 or 1,5 minutes each side, until pink color appears.
