Cooking for Parties/hot dogs for a large kid party

Question
QUESTION: I am also having a large party 100 people (50 are 5 years and under)  I am only serving hot dogs, 2 oz bags of potato chips and lemonade.  How would you serve the hot dogs - they will be bbq'd and I was thinking of putting them in buns and stacking them in large aluminum trays - how do you think I should serve them, so they stay warm?

ANSWER: Grill the dogs and put them in a big pan in the oven at about 200-250 degrees which should keep them nice and warm. Pull the pans out as pop the dogs into the buns and serve them.  If you put the buns in the oven they will get hard and dry. You could also set them on the stovetop as you take out the dogs and set 2 burners on the lowest setting to keep them warm as you serve. The menu is perfect for kids though.

QUESTION: Thank you for your response.  I should have been more clear though.  I will be having the party at a hall with no kitchen - we will be bbq'ng outside and I am leaning towards buying foil sheets w/ paper lining to wrap them w/ bun and then put them in the aluminum pan and try to get them served asap.

Answer
OK, when you get done grilling the dogs, put them in a container and leave them on the grill and close the lid.  If it's gas, turn it to low, if it's charcoal then spread out the coals and cover it with the dogs on the grate. You can then serve them from the grill or keep them warm.
