Cooking for Parties/potato salad

Question
Your potato salad recipe sounds wonderful! How many does it serve? I am doing a similar graduation dinner for 45-50. We are having brisket, sausage, potato salad and coleslaw. How many pounds of brisket and sausage do you recommend for that size of group? Thanks for your help!

Answer
The recipe I sent you should serve 20-25, I made an error it should be nine pounds of potatoes--the rest is correct!  My bad!  I just made a batch of it today for my BBQ tomorrow.
I'd have 1 sausage per person and 4 oz of cooked brisket per person which should take care of everyone nicely--some people will eat a little of both and some will eat one or the other.  I'm making sausage and brisket tomorrow--I do it in the oven and finish it on the grill so it's always tender!  I sear the brisket for about 5 minutes on each side on the grill then wrap it in foil with seasonings and bake it for 3 hours and then take it back and grill it for about 20 minutes basting it with BBQ sauce until it's glazed and yummy then slice and serve--always a big hit with the German potato salad and pineapple cole slaw!
For 50 people you'll need 12-13 pounds of cooked briscuit and about the same amount of cooked sausage.
